Fotoserie, 2013-2016

Auf einem Urlaub in Italien hatte ich nur eine Kompaktkamera und ein paar Rollen Farbfilm mit. Nach der Entwicklung war ein Viertel der Rolle verfärbt. Verärgert packte ich die Fotos weg und vergaß sie. Als Jahre später die Gelegenheit kam ein paar Bilder groß auszudrucken, fiel meine Wahl sofort auf diese Serie. Seither gehören sie zu meinen eigenen Lieblingsfotos, die mittlerweile weitere Serien von Naturbeobachtungen inspiriert haben.

On a vacation in Italy I had only a compact camera and a few rolls of color film with me. After development a quarter of the roll was discoloured. Angry I stored the photos away and forgot about them. Years later when I had the opportunity to print a few photos in a big size, I instantly remembered this series. They have become one of my favourite photographs and since have been the inspiration for other series of nature observations.
