„This is the Sound of“ entspringt der Beobachtung von Außen und dem Echo des Inneren.
Dokumentarisch, sachliche Einstellungen werden malerisch-filmischen entgegengesetzt, daraus entstehen fiktive und poetische Welten. Die Lokalisierung des Aufnahmeortes aus dem Off ist nur eine scheinbare Trennung von Bild und Ton, rückt die Orte stärker in den Vordergrund und macht den Blick der Menschen hinter der Kamera spürbar.

"This is the Sound of" originates from the observation of "the outside" and the echo of the inside.
Pictures and the moving image contrast in a documentary-like way, creating fictitious and poetic worlds.
The vocal localisation is an apparent separation of image and sound, emphasising the space and making the eye behind the camera palpable.
